As we think about gearing up for warmer weather, I would like to take time to remind you of several things.
If you had trouble starting your snow blower for this winter season, take precautionary methods to ensure a quick start in the future. Before putting your snow blower away, treat the fuel in its tank with Fuel Medic to prevent ethanol sludge from forming. And don’t forget to treat the fuel in your gas cans—using untreated fuel will cause problems in your engine, even if the unit’s gas was treated.
Schedule a pre-season tune up of your snow blower for this coming fall. We will be scheduling appointments for the service of your outdoor power equipment. Call one of our stores today and be first on the list! (Late October through mid-December is a great time to get it in and get it ready!) This will streamline the process of your repair and Dave’s Tractor World will have your unit ready to go before the snow flies!
Is your riding mower, trimmer, push mower or rototiller ready to operate? If your equipment needs to have maintenance done before the season begins, please consider scheduling an appointment as soon as possible. Oil change, blades sharpened and balanced are just several essentials you need to have done before the season begins in order to have a safe and worry free mowing season.
Is this the season that you’ve made up your mind to get a new mower? Consider what you are buying! Some of the units being sold out there actually have a plastic, non-serviceable transmission! One thing very true of lawn and garden equipment is: "You get what you pay for!"
Ask us about our in-house extended warranty plan, which we offer with each piece of new equipment purchased in our stores. As part of that extended warranty, we will provide you with a rider to mow your grass if your unit is out of service for more than a week!
Take time to consider your equipment needs and stop by a DTW store and let us help you! Or visit us online at DavesTractorWorldLLC.com.
